Stamp of Accreditation

The SACSCOC Board of Trustees approved the use of a Stamp of Accreditation for all institutions it accredits. This Stamp signifies to the public that the institution has successfully demonstrated compliance with all of the Principles of Accreditation and assures the educational quality and effectiveness of the institution.

The terms of use are included in the SACSCOC policy, Institutional Obligations for Public Disclosure. This Stamp may be used in conjunction with the institution’s full statement regarding accreditation. Member institutions which have provided that full statement in the appropriate document(s) may choose to make reference to their accreditation status on websites, flyers and other recruiting materials. The Stamp must appear as provided and cannot be altered in any form.
